MOTORHOME ZONES IN GIPUZKOA

Have you decided which places in Gipuzkoa you want to discover in your motorhome? In order that you don’t end up without a place, we recommend that you get in touch with the camp sites or service areas before you begin your trip, and if possible make a reservation.
Below we offer you a short list of places (camp sites and parking zones) where you’ll be able to park your motorhome.

Motorhome parking in Zestoa, Gipuzkoa. (***)

From the AP-8, take exit 48 and after the toll at the roundabout continue on the right, taking the GI-361 to Zestoa.

  • Restaurants and shops a few metres away in the town.

Places of interest in the area: A visit to Ekain Cave (Patrimony of Humanity) and its museum is a must (Museum website). Hiking routes in the area.

Listorreta Zone in Errenteria, Gipuzkoa (***)

From the AP-1/AP-8 take exit 19, and from the A-15 take exit 167, direction Astigarraga. From here take the GI-2132, direction Oiartzun. When you reach Perurena turn right towards Mugaritz and the Aiako Harria Park.

Zarautz zone, Gipuzkoa

At the end of a street in an industrial estate, 2 km from the town centre.

  • Charge: free of charge
  • Access: follow directions for Abendaño Industrial Estate and then for the motorhome parking zone.
  • Controlled area with a cycle lane to the town centre.
  • It can be rather noisy at night due to its proximity to the motorway.

Places of interest in the area:: the Photomuseum is an outstanding attraction (Museum of Cinema and Photography), Narros Palace and the archeological site of Santa Maria de La Real (Museum of Art and History).

Illumbe zone in Santa Sebastián, Gipuzkoa (**)

No places reserved for motorhomes but you can park/stay the night in the parking area.

  • Warning: On days of sports events the car park tends to fill up and leaving can be complicated.

Berio zone in San Sebastián, Gipuzkoa (**)

From the A-1, AP-8 and A-15 go towards the GI-20 which is the ring-road of San Sebastián. Then take Exit 8/9 towards the centre via Avenida Tolosa. At the third roundabout (Plaza Europa) turn left. Follow signs to the zone.

  • Bus stop approximately 100 m away. Numbers 5, 25 and 32 take you to the old part of town.
  • There is a cycle lane to the centre of town.

Places of interest in the area: La Concha beach, the Aquarium, Monte Igueldo, San Telmo Museum, eating “pintxis” in the old part of town. Don’t miss the “Tamborrada” (drum festival) in January, the Jazz Festival in July and the Cinema Festival in September.
